| Charity asks Woodhouse to run two major events 07 January 2008 |
The Railway Benefit Fund, the industry's own charity, has asked Woodhouse to organise two major events to mark its 150th anniversary year.
The charity is to hold two major fundraising dinners during 2008. One, for the Scottish-based industry, will take place in August at Glasgow's Science Centre while the other - a Victorian Extravaganza - will take place in October at the Brewery in London.
Simon King, Woodhouse's Relationship Manager, said the events were the highlight of the charity's events calendar. "These two occasions are going to be tremendous fun and will raise tens of thousand of pounds for needy people throughout the railway family."
